In partnership with Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation, the Toronto Botanical Garden is pleased to provide Growing Under Glass, a free full day program for grade three classes in the TDSB and TCDSB. The program includes a class visit, transportation and a teacher’s package with worksheets and resources designed to help take the learning back to the classroom.

During their visit students will:

  • Learn about the organic and inorganic components of soil
  • Meet our decomposing creatures
  • Tour the lush Allan Gardens Greenhouses
  • Investigate everything that plants need to grow
  • Plant a seed to take home

ATTENTION TEACHERS!
