The Making of a Garden:
An Introduction to Garden Design

Whether you want to design your own garden and need a little help or you are considering enrolling in a professional design program, this course is for you. Penny will cover all aspects of the design process, including basic principles, measuring your space, hardscaping and planting design. Each class will begin with a lecture and the remaining time will be focused on your individual plans - either your own garden or a hypothetical space of your choosing.

Building a Sustainable Home:
An Owner’s Perspective

This seminar will introduce the key concepts of sustainable housing and give you real- world examples that work. It covers ecological home design, passive solar concepts, renewable energy systems and water and sewage treatment
