Joshua Abush, principal of Joshua Four Limited, is a renovator and certified energy adviser with a master’s degree of engineering in green building and building science.

Penny Arthurs owns The Chelsea Gardener and Associates, designers of city and country gardens throughout North America. Penny is the author of Small-Space Gardens and co-author of Creating a Garden and Great Ideas for the Garden.

Donna Bilak has a Masters in History from York University, is a Ph.D. candidate at Bard Graduate Center and has taught courses at the ROM and York.

Terry Bland has been practising the art of tai chi for over twenty years, currently with Ben Chung at the Canadian Tai Chi Academy.

Marianne Broome is a full time artist whose work can be found in many private and corporate collections.

Ken Brown is a horticultural consultant, writer and photographer. Throughout his gardens, he grows a wide range of vegetables in innovative ways to maximize the use of space.

Janet Croken has been practising yoga for 20 years and teaching for nine.

Sean Fox is the Assistant Manager and Horticulturist at the University of Guelph Arboretum.
Connie Hunter is a Toronto Master Gardener and has accumulated a wealth of knowledge from her country vegetable garden north of the city.

Marion Jarvie, horticulturist, has spent more than 25 years teaching at the TBG and the University of Toronto and has lectured around the world.

Frank Kershaw is the former Director of Policy and Development for Parks and Recreation at the City of Toronto. He has visited and photographed more than 2,000 gardens worldwide.

Margit Koritar has been teaching art for many years. Her paintings are in the permanent collection of the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation at Carnegie Mellon University and in various private collections.

Anna Leggatt is a nature interpreter at the Kortright Centre for Conservation. A former teacher, she has a degree in botany and a diploma in horticulture.

Janna Levitt of Levitt Goodman Architects is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Waterloo School of Architecture. Her areas of interest are sustainable design, residential and culturally-based buildings.

Jim Lounsberry is a Certified Arborist, manager of horticulture studies at Mohawk College and owner of Vineland Nurseries.

Dana Mallany is an artist who has studied at both The Toronto School of Art and Nova Scotia Collage of Art & Design.

Jeff Mason of Mason House Gardens has over 20 years experience in the horticultural field. His lectures are jampacked with useful information and practical gardening tips.

Marjorie Mason is the owner of Mason House Gardens. She can be heard every Saturday on her radio program,Let’s Get Growing, on CKDO.

Terry McGlade has received many gardening awards including the 2007 City of Toronto Green Roof Award.

Moira Mudie, after studying with a master in Hong Kong, has devoted the past 40 years to her art. She is the author of The Chi of the Dragon.

Sandra Pella is the Head Gardener at the Toronto Botanical Garden.

Greg Sadowski, a birder for over 30 years, is a project ecologist for the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and holds a CWS master birdbanding permit.

Michael Spillane owns his own art studio, Spillane Studio of Fine Arts, in Port Credit. He was editor and art director for Plant & Garden magazine and has published over 300 articles worldwide.

Pamela Stagg is a popular teacher who has achieved international recognition for her botanical painting, including the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society Gold Medal.

Leslie Staple is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art. Her botanical watercolours have been shown in numerous group exhibitions throughout North America.

Elizabeth Stewart is a Toronto Master Gardener and TBG volunteer who harvests three vegetable crops ayear in her small downtown Toronto backyard. Her garden was featured in Canadian Gardening magazine in February 2009.

Margaret Taylor is an accredited floral design judge, teacher and demonstrator. She has won many awards for her designs.

Mark Trusz is both a photographer and an enthusiatic photography instructor.

John Wilson is the founder of the Natural Life Network, the producer of the Solar Village documentary video series and the author of Sun Rise, a comprehensive book about living sustainably. He also leads the operations group at Bullfrog Power.

Paul Zammit is the Director of Horticulture at the TorontoBotanical Garden and a regular presenter on television and at various horticultural events.
